受験資格 制限なし
受験内容 ◇理論・・・・①洋裁用語・用具、②流行、③服装の社会性、服飾マナー、④素材、⑤服装と色彩、⑥スタイル画、⑦実技の専門知識
◇実技・・・・一般的デザインの作品の制作
受験地 全国各地
受験日程  9月第2日曜日、1月第3日曜日（2回）
受験料 5,000円(実技試験免除者は、3,000円)

コメント 洋裁を学んできた人の技術を客観評価するための検定。洋裁技術の向上、発展に寄与している。
レベルは初・中・上の３段階に区分され、それぞれに必要な技術基準がある。中級の場合、洋裁に関する専門学校などの師範科修了程度の実力・学力が必要。アパレル業界の就職などで有利になるケースがある。
