受験資格 ※1.は朗読文字（1分間）、2.は朗読時間、3.は反訳時間、4は合格基準です。

2. 5分
3. 60分
4. 97％

受験地 全国主要都市（約20箇所）
受験日程 1月下旬、5月下旬、8月下旬、11月下旬頃（4回）
受験料 2,000円

コメント 速記とは、文字を極限まで簡素化し、書き取る時間を大幅に短縮する技術だ。裁判や国会の審議の際は、必ず速記士が発言の詳細を記録している。その他、テープレコーダーから原稿を起こす際などマスコミでも活躍している。
４級の目安は、「平易な口述や草稿などに速記を活用することができる」レベル。事務などにかつようできる速記力が必要だ。
